2011 Fly For Tots Program of Events!!!
This is a loose agenda of the happenings of the 2011 Fly For Tots!  Some of the MODEL AIRPLANE ACTION you will find at the 2011 Fly For Tots...some really cool jets, aerobatic airplanes, WWII fighters and maybe some flying lawnmowers and even pigs! See demonstrations of some of the most cutting edge models by some of the best pilots in the world during our Noon Time Demos!         From time to time, during the event, we are also visited by REAL AIRPLANES....        Each day of the event we have a KIDS CANDY DROP! Several large model airplanes carry up loads of cand and drop it down for the little ones!   GREAT FOOD AND COLD DRINKS are served all day, both days! We also have an awesome barbecue on Saturday evening!    LIVE MUSIC We always have music that is family friendly during the event and a live band during the barbecue! This year we will have the Dave Hedrick and Friends Blue Grass band playing during the barbecue.  VIDEOS? THAT's RIGHT! RDRC We will be showing videos after the barbecue from the Weekends activites!  EXCITEMENT Where there are this many model airplanes flying around, the unexpected is expected! Don't worry, our flight plan allows all of these miniature catastrohe's to be contained over the flying area. All pilots enjoy a good crash...as long as it's not your model!    NIGHT FLYING! The action doesn't stop when the sun sets at the Fly For Tots! See guys with lighted models flying..even helicopters! Pilots, if you have a night flyer, don't leave it at home!

VISIT: Victory Junction Gang Camp
www.VictoryJunction.org   The reps on site from Guru Aviation will be:  Chris "Lucky" Carnes - Chris"Lucky"Carnes has been flying RC Airplanes and Heli's since September 2004. He was a member of an AMA show team for three years, flying rc demos up and down the East Coast. Chris is a R&D Team Guru pilot, as well as the resident team airbrush artist.  Ricky Tant - Ricky "Bell-Ray" Tant has been flying since 2004. He is a team pilot for Bel-Ray oil company as well as Chief Aircraft. He is also proud to be part of the GURU R&D team pilot. He also flies up and down the east coast doing demos and sharing his passion for RC airplanes.  Cody Hazen - Cody is our newest member to the Guru crew, with his go big attitude and his love for others. He has been a great addition to our growing family. Cody will be involved in many aspects of Guru Aviation, from flying, designing, cutting and promoting goodwill, fellowship and the hobby. |
